一个好的变分同化方法,必须考虑到预报模式具有误差,并对模式误差进行纠正.变分连续同化(VCA)通过在模式方程中引进一个修正项,连续地调整模式变量,从而达到以上目的.在变分连续同化的迭代过程中,优化步长的选取方法对于同化迭代是否收敛、收敛速度快慢与否都至关重要,文中推导了一种有效利用观测资料计算优化步长的新方法,并以大气运动方程中一维非线性平流波和二维惯性波为例,进行了四维变分资料同化数值试验.数值结果表明,VCA方法和计算优化步长的公式都是有效的.  相似文献

Previous studies have shown that water retention curve (WRC) and the hydraulic conductivity vary because of changes of the void ratio or porosity of soil. However, limited documents pointed out the change of hydraulic properties of soil when compacted to different porosities while considering both of the drying and wetting processes of the WRC. This information is sometimes necessary for research like finger flow analysis or the occurrence of wetting and drying cycles as what would be seen in the field. Therefore, this study aims to examine the change of WRC characteristics with varied porosity considering both of the drying and wetting path in WRC by conducting a sand box experiment. Results show that the same type of sand compacted to various porosities have different hydraulic parameters. Hydraulic conductivities generally decrease with reduced porosities; shape parameter α of the van Genuchten equation (1980) linearly decreases with declining porosity and shape parameter n in a reversal manner for the sands of interest whether in the drying process or wetting process. The unsaturated properties of sand are further characterized by inspecting the variations of moisture content, matric suction and vertical displacement of soil body subject to periodic changes of the water level by another sand box experiment. The outcomes suggest that the saturated water content and residual water content are changing during the wetting–drying process, which can be an implication of the changed properties of WRC. The characteristics of volumetric deformation might be varied as well because of the observation of the dissimilar patterns of the changing vertical displacements among each wetting–drying process. Infiltration patterns of the sands also are identified through numerical modelling by introducing a constant infiltration flux from the surface followed by a no‐influx condition. Results indicate that less water accumulates in the sand near the surface for the sand compacted to higher porosity, but water can move deeper. Hydraulic conductivity is found as the prime factor dominating the evolvement of wetting fronts. However, shape parameters of water retention curves also affect the infiltration pattern to some extent. 针对国内缺少面向非专业人群的GIS科普内容的状况,研究在建构主义体验学习与情境学习理论的指导下,提出了"以兴趣引导体验促科学知识发现"的GIS体验区建设理念,形成了"掌握空间分析方法、提高动手实践能力、转变思维方式和观念"的体验目标和"用半开放体验线路串联系列小案例反映GIS方法与应用"的设计思路,进而以"GIS知识学习——GIS初步应用——GIS项目选址"为体验主线,进行了GIS体验区的框架设计和分场景设计,并综合运用RIA技术和开源WebGIS技术,构建了GIS科学体验的数字互动平台。GIS体验区网站运行一年以来,访问量超过17万人次,结果表明,GIS体验区能够有效把握体验者的兴趣,有利于推动GIS的大众化发展。  相似文献

With the UK Marine Bill promoting the creation of a network of marine protected areas and similar commitments in other countries there is a need for tools to assist in their design and management. Although physical science often drives designation, the implementation of marine protected areas also encompasses political and socio-economic issues. This paper focuses on one tool in the armoury of decision-makers: choice experiments. It illustrates its application to the quantification of aspects of socio-economic value not readily incorporated into the evaluation of the costs and benefits of marine protected areas utilising cold-water deep coral reefs off the Republic of Ireland.  相似文献

滑面的摩擦特性是高速岩质滑坡动力学研究的关键问题之一。以典型脆性灰岩为研究对象,借助滚动磨损试验设备,开展不同压力和转速条件下干燥和湿润灰岩的滚动摩擦试验,研究岩石动态摩擦特性(摩擦系数和磨损率)。试验结果表明,干燥和湿润岩石的滚动摩擦系数分别与摩擦速率呈负相关和正相关,与法向压力关系不明显。对于干燥灰岩,滚动试件(滑体)和静止试件(滑床)的磨损率与摩擦速率分别呈正相关和负相关。对于湿润灰岩,磨损率与摩擦速率呈正相关。基于Hertz弹性接触理论,推导出摩擦斑处的最大压应力和拉应力,进而提出相应条件下脆性灰岩的摩擦碎裂机制。结论可为灰岩高速滑坡防灾减灾提供设计参数。  相似文献

为了更深层次地了解黄土的地质特征,以庆阳地区某超高层巨厚层黄土地基为研究对象,对陇东黄土的物理和力学性能进行了深入探究。主要通过原位试验与室内试验,从地层结构、分布深度、液限、塑限、塑性指数、孔隙比、湿陷变形、剪切波速、地基土承载力、抗剪强度等方面对该地区黄土的工程性能进行了综合分析与评价,结果表明:5.0 m以内的马兰黄土湿陷性较强烈,黏聚力小,压缩性大;随着黄土厚度逐渐增大,离石黄土及午城黄土黏聚力增大,压缩性减小,呈轻微-中等湿陷性;受压超过400 kPa的马兰黄土、受压大于600 kPa的离石黄土及受压大于200 kPa的午城黄土均无湿陷性;15.0 m以内土体最大干密度为1.67~1.76 g/cm3,最优含水率为16.6%~17.7%;含水率高值相对集中在地下水位62.0 m以下、饱和度90.0%以上地区。  相似文献

We examined the effects of the presence of larval conspecifics on larval vertical distribution of four‐arm and six‐arm plutei of Strongylocentrotus droebachiensis and bipinnaria of Asterias rubens, in laboratory experiments, by manipulating population density. Larvae were introduced to experimental columns (10 × 10 × 30 cm) at one of two or three population densities (S. droebachiensis: 0.1 and 10 larvae·ml?1; A. rubens: 0.1, 1 and 10 larvae·ml?1). Subsequent changes in vertical distribution were determined from images of the larvae in the columns illuminated by a 532‐nm laser and captured by a high‐resolution camera. Larvae of both species were found higher in the water column in the high than in the low and intermediate population densities. The relationship between vertical swimming velocity and nearest neighbour distance (NND) was measured for four‐arm plutei of S. droebachiensis, and used to determine a range in distances among individuals that may affect potential interactions. The variation in swimming velocity decreased with increasing proximity below a threshold distance among individuals of 10 mm, which was greater than the estimated distance in the high population density. We suggest that the increased larval aggregation near the water surface under high population density is the result of a behavioural response to conspecifics.  相似文献
